About
Believe me when I say that I've made many quizzes, games, and puzzles over the years. Scattered about the internet, on old blogs, on random spreadsheets, on rough scraps of paper around my room. This, at last, will be the final resting place for my favourites.
Why not use my personal site?
- Currently, my personal site has gotten pretty bloated, with not a lot of real estate to add new types of quizzes. I want to be able to branch out to different kinds of games and puzzles while not making it hard to navigate the site. In addition, 95% of my site's traffic is to quizzes anyway, so it makes sense to split them up.
- I want to implement a lot of features that wouldn't make sense for a personal site, like user accounts, leaderboards, and custom datasets.
- I do want to put some ads on my quiz site, which would make 0 sense on a personal site.
What can I expect from this site?
- More focus on daily games - Many of my quizzes and games will have a daily mode, with settings that ensure that games don't exceed 5 minutes of playtime. Or at least, that's the goal.
- Fewer configuration options - I realise that I added too many configuration options to my games, and that it can be a bit overwhelming for many players. I want to simplify the settings, especially for the daily challenges, so that it's more approachable for everyone.
- Plug-and-play your own data - For my data-driven quizzes, I want to make it as easy as possible for people to use their own datasets. As simple as uploading a CSV file, or pasting raw text. That's the end goal.
